CNC Milled Parts

Compared with CNC turning, CNC milling services can be used to create complex 3D shapes or to apply a machined surface or features to parts made both plastics and metals. The advantage of multi-axis milling machines makes CNC milling process versatile, as well as accurate and repeatable, for creating many different types of part features of complex geometries. Example include holes, curves, slots, angled shapes, and channels. Milling is also ideal for making tooling for pressure die casting and plastic injection molding.

CNC Turned Parts

CNC lathes allow us to get high-speed turning of both plastics and metals from bar or block material. The turning process allows the production of complex external and internal geometries, including generating all kinds of threads. For any round shaped components, for example, shafts, worms, spheres, CNC turning is a more efficient method compared with CNC milling. Xinxin Prototype turning capability can make prototypes all the way through mass production parts.

Common Questions About CNC Machining Parts

Q1: What are the usual tolerances for CNC-machined parts?
A1: Standard CNC machining tolerances usually range from ±0.05 mm to ±0.1 mm, depending on material, size, and structure. High-precision machining can achieve tighter tolerances ±0.001 mm.

Q2: What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for CNC machining?
A2: No MOQ limit, from 1pc prototype sample to batch production 10000pcs.

Q3: What is the production time for CNC machining?
A3: Simple parts in 5–8 days for prototypes, while larger batches may take 2–3 weeks. Final depends on complexity, material, quantity, etc.

Q4: Do you provide surface finishing for CNC machining parts?
A4: Yes. Parts can be finished with anodizing, painting, chrome, polishing, coating, powder coating, plating, etc.

Q5: What kind of parts can CNC machining produce?
A5: CNC machining can manufacture customized, complex, and precise parts for various industries. Including automotive, medical devices, robotic, consumer electronics, mechanical parts, and even functional components.

Q6: What file formats are required for CNC machining quote?
A6: Common file formats include CAD files such as STEP (.step, .stp), IGES (.iges, .igs), DXF (.dxf) and PDF.
