How can you deliver robotic prototype parts in consistent quality?
Within a single batch, we keep the same process. The same parts are machined on the same CNC machining equipment, using the same parameters and toolpaths. Inspect each part before shipment. Across different orders, when a repeat part comes in, we reuse the saved parameters from the previous run, so a part reordered months later still matches the original batch.
What tolerances can you do?
Our general tolerance follows ISO 2768, suitable for CNC-machined metal and plastic parts. For critical features such as bearing bores, shafts, and mating faces, we can hold tight tolerances down to ±0.005 mm, verified by CMM inspection. We’ll manufacture the parts as per your drawing requirements and ensure your robotics parts are perfectly assembled.
What materials are in your stock for my robotics prototype parts?
We have a range of metal and plastic materials for robotics and automation prototypes. Such as aluminum 6061 and 7075 for higher-strength components, steel and stainless steel for high-load parts. For engineering plastics, POM (Acrylic)/Nylon suits for gear parts, PEEK handles high temperatures, and ABS is used for housing in common.
Can you advise on design, materials, and process for robot prototype manufacturing?
Yes, our engineering team reviews drawings and makes a Design-for-Manufacturing (DFM) based on your design. We’ll recommend the right material and process for each part based on load, weight target, and operating environment. Think of us as an engineering partner, not just a prototype machine shop.
A complete robot prototype needs many different types of parts. Can you manufacture them all?
Yes, a set robot typically needs CNC-machined structural parts, sheet metal enclosures, vacuum casting components, and surface finishing. We provide all of these in-house, CNC machining for precision metal key parts, sheet metal fabrication for frames and control cabinets, and vacuum casting for housings and covers.
Do you support low-volume production after validating the prototype?
Yes, we support the low-volume runs after the prototype is approved. Using the same processes, and the quality as same as the prototype. Accordingly, we may discuss and use other ways to reduce costs as the quantity increases.
