1.Stainless steel plate
The characteristics of stainless steel sheet metal prototype is non-magnetic, corrosion resistance, good brightness and high strength. Certain elasticity and good high temperature oxidation resistance. For big or complex parts, has well welding performance. But the processing technology is difficult, and the raw stainless steel cost is expensive. Regularly, surface treatments have brushing, electrophoresis, etc. There are also have already done special treatment on the stainless steel raw materials, for example, mirror polish, matt or 2B stainless steel plates.

2. Aluminum plate
Aluminum sheet metal has good corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, good plasticity and processing technology. But the disadvantage is low strength and high price. Commonly we do the surface treatments on aluminum sheet metal prototype is anodizing, plating, painting, screen printing, etc.

3. Cold rolled steel plate, also called SPCC
The thickness of cold-rolled sheet plate is generally between 0.1–8.0mm, and most is less th an 4.5mm. Mainly used for electroplating and baking paint prototype parts, which not only has good surface appearance and high dimensional accuracy. But also good mechanical properties and process performance. The disadvantage is that it is easy to rust. Therefore, commonly do surface finish treatments to protect, such as color zinc plating, blue zinc plating, nickel plating, spray screen printing, etc.

4.Galvanized sheet
Galvanized sheet is an aluminum-silicon alloy steel sheet, which has the characteristics of good heat resistance and corrosion resistance. Because already have a galvanized layer on the plate to advoid rust, most of time is only laser cutting, bending etc as the machined. It is one of best choose for economic material which has good surface.

5. Copper plate
The copper plate is a copper-zinc alloy, and the commonly used surface treatment is nickel plating, blackening and oxidation.
